Lynn Hammel is not a politician—he’s a lifelong Iowan who believes in hard work, personal responsibility, and serving others. As your representative for Iowa House District 33, Lynn will focus on three key priorities: 1) Hammer Down Property Taxes: Keep families, workers, and seniors from being taxed out of their homes. 2) Protect Victims and Strengthen Public Safety: Fight domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault while supporting victims and holding offenders accountable. 3) Stand Up for Workers and Working Families: Support good-paying jobs, workforce training, and economic opportunity for everyday Iowans. Raised on a small Northeast Iowa dairy farm, Lynn learned early the value of discipline, faith, and teamwork. Today, Lynn works in IT, helping organizations solve problems and improve systems.
